Thought you’d be as inspired by Beth Sieloff as I was…
I am writing to give you a quick update what life has delivered to me since I attended Happily Every Now and completed the Radiant Child YTT.
As you know, after attending Happily Ever Now course I found my wings, took a leap of faith, and quit my high paying job in DC to pursue a Master’s in Public Health and teach yoga.
Well, I am flying!
I am currently 9 months into the MPH program and I am finishing up my last video on Tuesday to complete my 95-hour RCYT requirements. I have been teaching children’s classes at a local elementary school and the letters from the children on how they love the Radiant Child practice will bring you to tears.
What is most exciting about my journey is that I have been selected for a 6-month public health internship with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
The Director of Public Health for this Native American tribe was drawn to my resume by both my military experience and my yoga teacher training. Beginning in July we will host a daily yoga class at the medicine lodge and we are also working to integrate yoga into the elementary school program. This tribe is working really hard to improve the health of all it’s members with holistic medicine and spiritual practices. I am looking forward to contributing to these programs and gaining insight to the beliefs and practices of this Native American community.
I want to thank you for your inspiration and programs that allowed me to look within myself and pursue my passion. Your insight is present in every class I teach. I will be forever grateful that God led me to the Radiant Child practice, Ohana Rising, and Happily Ever Now.
Blessings to you, and I hope to see you again soon.
